Celebrating another successful year of Cambridge and Oxford offers

It has been another incredibly successful year of Oxbridge offers for students from The National Mathematics and Science College, with again almost 1 in 5 students gaining offers this year.

Applying to Oxford or Cambridge requires a great deal of hard work and dedication, both from the students themselves from the staff who support them in their applications through guidance, support, specialist tuition and preparation and interview practice.  We’d like to take this moment to thank everyone involved in this process for their significant efforts and support.

The students receiving offers this year are:

Dr Andy Kemp, Principal

I’d like to congratulate all the students who put themselves forward by applying to Oxford and Cambridge.  The competition for places is always incredibly fierce, particular for those applying from the independent sector.  Every year there will be many excellent candidates who have missed out, and who could have thrived in the Oxbridge environment.  The fact that such a large proportion of our cohort have again gained offers from either Oxford or Cambridge is a testament to their quality, and the preparation and support they have received from The National Mathematics and Science College.”

Physics Olympiad
Ivan received an offer to read Physics at Keble College, Oxford and won a gold at the British Physics Olympiad this month

In addition to offers from Oxford and Cambridge, students from NatMatSci have this year already received offers from Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow, Imperial, KCL, Leeds, Loughborough, Manchester, Nottingham, Warwick, and York
