Molympics Success for our NatMatSci Chemists
A major highlight of the term was our participation in the global “Mole Olympics (Molympics)” on 23 October 2024. Competing with 7,765 students from 134 schools across 33 states, 4 provinces, and 8 countries, our team demonstrated their chemistry expertise in a series of challenging events.
These included the Tally Mark Challenge, Mole Flip, Mole of Metals, Stopper Tower, and the Avogadro Fitness Challenge. Thanks to their outstanding skills in estimation, measurement, dimensional analysis, and problem-solving, our students achieved an impressive 5th place overall, making us the highest-scoring school outside the United States.
