Our NatMatSci-ber webinar series continues with an Easter special – love chocolate, love chemistry – then join Dr Penny Robotham for :

‘The Chemistry of Easter Eggs!” 👩‍🔬 🐣🍫

Easter traditions and symbols have evolved over time. One of the traditions associated with Easter are chocolate eggs. Come and find out more about the chemistry of chocolate in this webinar.

We hope to make this an interactive session – please bring along a normal piece of your favourite chocolate and a second piece that you have melted and then placed in the fridge / freezer and allowed to reset and enjoy the taste test during the session

It’s been another successful year of offers for our students, with almost 1 in 5 gaining offers for Oxford and Cambridge. Our Chemistry department is delighted that two of our students have offers to read Chemistry at Oxford! For the last 2 years a NatMatSci student has been selected for the UK Chemistry Olympiad Team and competed in the International Chemistry Olympiad. We hope this interactive class will provide a great introduction to studying Science at NatMatSci.

🗺️ The class will be held at two time slots time to cater for all times zones.
