Celebrating our National Award-Winning STEM Communication Programme
Join us for an afternoon focused on research, reasoning and communication in STEM at our 2026 Academic Poster Conference. The event is open to current parents, prospective families, academics, researchers and STEM enthusiasts interested in how scientific thinking is developed and communicated at pre-university level.
Our A-Level students will present the results of their independent research projects through academic posters, discussing problem formulation, methodology, analysis, and conclusions. Attendees are encouraged to engage in detailed discussion with students about their approaches, assumptions, and results, reflecting how STEM ideas are tested, refined and communicated in practice.
Guest Speakers
Keynote Speaker: Jess Wade
Jess Wade is a physicist and Research Fellow at Imperial College London, working on the electronic properties of novel materials. She is also widely recognised for her work in science communication and for improving representation and visibility within STEM disciplines.
Book Signing Guest: Lewis Dartnell
Lewis Dartnell is Professor of Astrobiology and Science Communication, with research spanning microbiology, planetary science, and the search for life beyond Earth. He is the author of The Knowledge and Origins, exploring how scientific knowledge underpins civilisation.
