A level results Triumph: 70% of results A* or A Grades
It’s been an extremely busy day in college and we are delighted to celebrate another outstanding set of A level results this year!
Dr Andy Kemp, Principal says:
”In another remarkable year for the education system in the UK I’m incredibly proud of the students at NatMatSci. They have succeeded against the odds, and set themselves up for amazing futures. We are so proud that this morning many of them were receiving confirmation messages for their places at Cambridge, Manchester, UCL, Imperial, LSE, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Bristol and Bath among other universities.
With 70% of their results being either A* or A grades this year, despite the changes in grading standards, this shows just how impressive these young people are.
Having now achieved this level of results before, during, and after the pandemic we have now shown what an exciting and outstanding place to study The National Mathematics and Science College is.”

Amidst the celebrations, we managed to catch up with some of our students to find out their reaction to the news today!
Congratulations to Said, who has been accepted to study chemical engineering at University College London:
“I’m immensely grateful for the exceptional teachers who guided me throughout my college years. Their dedication, expertise, and passion for their subjects were truly inspiring, and I credit much of my growth to their guidance.
Looking back, I can confidently say that my time in NatMatSci was a transformative period of my life, full of lessons, laughter, and lasting memories.”

”After weeks of waiting, I couldn’t believe it when I saw my exceptional exam results. I was overjoyed and couldn’t contain my excitement and seeing my parents so proud gave me the world. I’m so happy I get to go to a very good university in the UK and I hope everyone gets to feel how I was feeling today.”
