NatMatSci Year 1 Physicists Showcase Their Exceptional Physics Skills on the World Stage
NatMatSci students have once again performed superbly in the global AAPT American Association od Physics Teachers Physics Bowl competition. This fast-paced test assesses knowledge across physics, including content beyond A-level courses, and demands rapid problem-solving skills. It’s excellent preparation for competitive university admission tests.
Our Year 1 student team, comprised of our top-scoring students in the year group, achieved an outstanding second place overall in Region 14. This region includes all schools worldwide outside the USA and China, with fierce competition from other schools in the UK, as well as from Europe and beyond. This means NatMatSci is ranked as the second-best team in the world outside the USA and China, and the top team in the UK!
The top scorers in Year 1 were:
- Basil
- Vadim
- Duc
- Kamila
- Justin
- Captain
- Nathan
- Evaristo
Congratulations to these brilliant students for their exceptional performance! For more about how we challenge our students beyond the A level Physics programme – visit our Physics page.
