NATMATSCI CHEMISTS FINISH IN THE TOP THREE FOR THE THIRD YEAR IN A ROW AT THE CHEMISTRY RACE 2024

The Chemistry Race originated at the University of Pardubice in 2015, and is now organised by students of the chemistry departments of  Cambridge University and Oxford University. The competition, now in its fifth year, is designed to challenge sixth form teams.

Another amazing achievement for NatMatSci – finishing again in the top three at the Cambridge Chemistry Race!

Huge thanks to the University of Oxford for being such fantastic hosts and for all of the hard work by the Chemistry Race organising committee for inspiring the next generation of chemists.
We’re thrilled to see our talented female chemists proudly representing #WomenInSTEM once more.
Happy ”International Women and Girls in Science Day” to all our remarkable female staff and students who continue to excel in their field!👩‍🔬🧪🌡

Many thanks to our Chemistry department, Dr Penny Robotham and Ms Charlie Turner for mentoring our team.

We’re looking forward to another challenging race next year!
