
NatMatSci awarded 19 medals at the British Physics Olympiad
We are celebrating some brilliant results from the recent BPhO, British Physics Olympiad β a competition designed to push students and encourage them to aim high, allowing them to participate in a national competition taken by the most able physicists of their own age. This competition required quick thinking and fluency in the topic areas questioned.
With 380 schools and 5300 participating students, we are delighted to celebrate this fantastic achievement of 19 medals!
3 gold awards π₯π₯π₯
6 silver awards π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯
and 10 bronze awards.
The gold award students (Oat, Jonty and Ivan)scored in the top 15% of all entries and a special mention goes to Ivan (Year 1) who only dropped 4 marks over the whole competition β an outstanding achievement fantastic achievement.
