British Physics Olympiad: A Fantastic Success for our Aspiring Young Physicists
The British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) is a top competition for young physicists in the UK. Organised by Oxford University, it tests students with complex problems, encourages students to think critically and creatively, going beyond what is taught in A-level exams.
We are absolutely delighted to share that our students have achieved some of the best results ever recorded by our college in the British Physics Olympiad. This year’s outcome is nothing short of spectacular. To achieve any award in this competition is an outstanding accomplishment.
👏 Top Gold Awards: Huge congratulations to Daniils, Evelina, and Luna. These students have each achieved one of the very best marks of students studying in the UK. 👑
🥇 Gold Awards: Shoutout to Yanxi, Aiden, Jessie, Jo, Andrei, Nathan, and Conor for their performance — fewer than 500 Golds are awarded in the entire country!
🥈 Silver Awards: A fantastic achievement by 15 of our students, placing them in the top 1000 across the UK!
🥉 Bronze Awards: 16 brilliant young physicists from Years 1 & 2 made their mark, scoring well on some of the toughest questions out there.
These outstanding results reflect the exceptional talent and passion for physics within NatMatSci, setting the stage for continued success in physics and beyond.
We’re incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to even more accomplishments in the future. Congratulations to everyone involved! 🌟
