We are extremely proud of Winston and Elliot who attended the British Physics Olympiad Annual Awards at The Royal Society in central London yesterday, following their outstanding performance in the Senior Physics Challenge.
Their results placed them among the top physics students nationally, earning them an invitation to this prestigious celebration of young scientific excellence.
The event brought together some of the strongest young physicists in the UK, including students selected for the UK International Physics Olympiad and International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics teams.
Held at one of the world’s most historic scientific institutions, the day celebrated excellence in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and advanced physics understanding.
Winston and Elliot joined students from across the country who are performing at the highest level in national and international competitions. Throughout the day, they had the opportunity to meet and speak with academic physicists and researchers, Olympiad alumni and competition organisers, teachers and students from specialist physics schools, and representatives from sponsor G-Research.
A huge well done to Winston and Elliot.

This week Elliot C and Winston W were both invited to the British Physics Olympiad’s annual awards ceremony in London. The two students were the top performers in the UK in the Senior Physics Challenge, the BPhO’s extremely difficult exam for Year 12 students!
They were hosted, along with winners of other competitions, at the Royal Society in central London. They were presented with awards and had the opportunity to meet the chair of the BPhO and other top Physicists from prestigious institutions in the UK.
Massive congratulations to Elliot and Winston for this amazing achievement!!
