Our Year 1 students recently headed to Dorset for an action-packed week filled with adventure, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves.

From getting out on the water to taking on the cliffs, the week was packed with activities designed to encourage teamwork, resilience and a healthy dose of adventure.

Students took to the clear water in Dorset for kayaking and paddleboarding, enjoyed beach games and tackled both indoor and outdoor climbing. They also took on the challenge of coasteering, combining swimming, scrambling and climbing along Dorset’s coastline.

Away from the water and cliffs, students developed their outdoor skills through bushcraft and had the chance to explore the historic Corfe Castle.

There was just as much happening once the sun went down. Evenings were filled with board games, Taskmaster-style challenges and a range of competitions, giving students plenty of opportunities to relax, have fun and get to know each other outside the classroom.

It was a fantastic week for our Year 1 students, bringing together adventure, friendship and new challenges in a beautiful part of the country.

From conquering climbing walls to taking on the coastline, the trip was a great reminder that some of the best experiences happen beyond the classroom.

Could this be you in 2027?
